The Koflers put body and soul into their work and are now in their third generation. It all started with Grandpa Augustin and his passion for the finest speck and the tastiest sausages.
Grandpa Augustin developed delicious recipes with speck and sausages that were initially intended only for the family. Augustin's son Walter, the current Senior Manager, who inherited the family's passion for cured meat and family recipes over 40 years ago, has continuously improved and expanded them. This way, he has kept the tradition alive and passed on the recipes to his children Klaus, Martina, and Lukas. For more than four decades, typical South Tyrolean products have been produced by the Kofler family and their team at 1,350 metres above sea level in the midst of a spectacular natural mountain landscape. The family are supported by their team of experienced and highly qualified employees.
Kofler Delikatessen has been synonymous with typical South Tyrolean products since 1976.
Until early 2017, the specialities were sold under the Kofler Speck brand name. The continuous expansion of the product range required a new interpretation and positioning of the brand. A new brand name, Kofler Delikatessen, was born. Now, as then, the family attach great importance to a careful and sustainable sourcing of top-quality meat and selected ingredients. Careful craftsmanship contributes to outstanding regional products.
